Common Complaints and Reliability

• 1. Suspension & Axle Issues:

  • Rear sway bar snapped.
    
  • Rear stabilizer bar failed, causing noise.
    
  • Bracket holding the rear axle is cracked.
    
  • Rear trailing arm failure.
    
  • Rear axle shaft broke.
    
  • Rod assembly makes a loud noise.
    
  • Defective trailing arm assembly; weld did not hold long and broke, causing a loud pop when making right turns.
    
  • Crack in the inner torsion bar.
    
  • Shake on the front end, something with the axle.
    

• 2. Electrical & Lighting Issues:

  • Speakers inoperative.
    
  • Headlights become unsealed, causing condensation and water to collect inside, impairing reflective ability.
    

• 3. Fuel & Engine Issues:

  • Vehicle shut off while driving and gas tank caught on fire; trunk near rear seat was on flames.
    
  • Auto caught fire and the engine burned after being driven approximately 10 miles; auto was turned off when the fire started.
    
  • Engine got hot then just stopped running and hasn't run since.
    

• 4. Brake System Issues:

  • Front rotors are warped and need to be replaced.
    
  • Brake hose on both sides are cracked.
    

• 5. Transmission Issues:

  • Floor shift lever will not lock when in park, causing vehicle to roll backwards.
    

• 6. Seatbelt Issues:

  • Driver's side seatbelt buckle has a piece broken where it says "PRESS" and the seatbelt will not unlatch.
    

• 7. Steering Issues:

  • Rack and pinion replaced.
